Solar Steel, a leading global company specialized in the design and supply of solar trackers and fixed-tilt structures, has signed a new agreement for the supply of 70 MW of solar trackers in Italy, reinforcing its strong presence in one of Europe’s most promising solar markets.
The agreement includes the supply of both 1P and 2P solar tracker systems for several utility-scale projects across the country. This new milestone sets the tone for a year in which Solar Steel anticipates solid growth figures in Italy, a market with significant solar potential and increasing demand for advanced tracker solutions.
The signing of this agreement coincides with the official launch of Solar Steel’s new 2P solar tracker, the TracSmarT+2P, recently added to the company’s product portfolio. Designed specifically for utility-scale and agrivoltaic projects, the new 2P tracker has already generated strong interest among Italian developers, who are increasingly seeking solutions that optimize land use while maximizing energy yield.
“Italy has become a strategic market for Solar Steel, especially for agrivoltaic applications where 2P trackers offer clear advantages in flexibility, efficiency and adaptability,” the company noted. “This new product responds directly to market demand and strengthens our value proposition for complex solar projects.”
Headquartered in Spain, with offices and projects worldwide, Solar Steel continues to consolidate its position as a top-choice supplier for solar developers globally. In Italy in particular, the company is on track to surpass 1 GW of supplied capacity, further confirming its role as a key technology partner in the country’s energy transition.
With this new agreement, Solar Steel reaffirms its commitment to supporting the growth of clean energy in Italy and delivering high-performance tracking solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the solar industry.
